Germ-Free Tips For Technology During Cold & Flu Season

As cold and flu season begins, companies should take extra measures to ensure their employees are safe and healthy – especially during the busy holidays when any absences are difficult to manage.

Some of the most ignored areas when it comes to cleaning involves technology, despite the number of employees that use phone systems and computers daily. Here are a few tips for keeping technology germ-free during cold and flu season:

1.     Keep hand sanitizer near work stations with phones and computers. Encourage employees to use it before using devices that other employees also handle. This will prevent the transfer of germs for less worry later.

2.     Choose a cleaning produce that is safe to use on your devices. While sprays can be effective in killing germs, they can get through small areas and quickly harm your computers and phones. Your best option is to use a disinfectant wipe.
